"We are preparing with full intensity" - Márton Dely

In the 8th round of the K&H men's handball league, the ETO University Handball Team will host the NEKA team in the Magvassy Mihály Sports Hall. The meeting will begin on Friday, November 1, 2024 at 6 p.m. Tickets are still available for the match.

The team led by Bálint Kilvinger has played seven matches in the 2024/2025 championship so far, won five of their league matches and lost two. In the first round, ETO won a 31-30 victory against Budakalász with an impressive final game, while in the second round they proved to be better by nine goals in the home of Eger (26-35). In the third round, the guys from Győr defeated the Csurgó team 35-27 at home, while a week later they scored a six-goal victory against Gyöngyös (32-26), while in the fifth round PLER-Budapest was away (31 -38) team was defeated. The association suffered its first defeat in the championship against the record champion Veszprém HC in Audi Aréna Győr. The team last played at the home of OTP Bank-Pick Szeged, where they suffered a 9-goal defeat.

NEKA will arrive in Győr on Friday. The team won two of the seven matches so far, drew once, but lost four times. Most recently, the students of László Sótonyi achieved a draw against the Csurgó team.

Tickets are still available in advance on the jegymester website, as well as at the venue from when the gates open, i.e. from 5 p.m.

At the meeting, the referee duo Kristóf Altmár and Márton Horváth will blow the whistle.
