In the 7th round of the K&H men's handball league, the ETO University Handball Team played as a guest at the home of OTP Bank-Pick Szeged. ETO started the match well and at the beginning the goals were back-to-back, but by the end of the half, Szeged had developed a six-goal lead (19-13). The home team increased its advantage in the second half, and in the end Szeged won 38-29.
Pásztor started in goal for Győr, while head coach Bálint Kilvinger sent Hári, Bozovic, Bombac, Vajda, Balogh, and Nagy to attack. From the first attack, Bozovic fought a seven-meter shot, which Balogh sold (0-1). In the 10th minute, the scoreboard showed a 6-6 draw. In the 12th minute, when Győr was leading by a goal, the headcoach of the home team asked for his first timeout in the match, after which Szeged produced a 5-0 period. In the 17th minute, with the home team leading 12-8, Bálint Kilvinger also asked for time out. By the last ten minutes of the half, the teams had a 13-10 Szeged advantage. The first half ended with the home team leading 19-13.
The second half started with two home goals, but then Hári and Bozovic also scored (21-15). In the 42nd minute, the difference between the two teams was already nine goals (28-19). With a quarter of an hour before the end, the difference between the two teams was still nine goals, which remained until the end, so the meeting ended with a score of 38-29.
