In the 5th round of the K&H men's handball league, the ETO University Handball Team travels to the home of PLER-Budapest. The meeting will start on Friday, October 11, 2024 at 18:00 in the BUD Arena.
Bálint Kilvinger's squad has a flawless record in the league so far, as it has won all four league matches. In the first round, he won a 31-30 victory against Budakalász with a bravura finish, while in the second round, Eger proved to be better by nine goals (26-35). In the third round, they defeated Csurgó's team 35-27 at home, while a week later they won against Gyöngyös by six goals (32-26).
Our Friday opponent is currently in 9th place in the table, with one win, one draw and seven defeats. The Budapest team started the championship with a one-goal defeat against Balatonfüred in a close match (28-29), while in the second round they defeated the CYEB-Budakalász team 29-31. In the third round, at home, they lost 25-29 to Eger, while most recently they drew with Csurgó (27-27).
Miklós Andorka and Róbert Hucker will blow the whistle at the meeting.
