In the third round, the ETO University Handball Team joined the men's Hungarian Cup. ETO played against Veszprémi KKFT, where the first half ended with the visitors leading by four goals. In the second half, the five-six goal difference became permanent and in the end Győr won the match 25-31.
Our team started the meeting with Laurinyecz, Vilovski, Fazekas, Gerdán, Bombac, Balogh in defense and Bős in goal. The first goal was scored by Fazekas, and then came the home response (1-1). In the first minutes, the goals were still one after the other, but in the 10th minute, our team already led by 5-8. Then it was time for the home team's master. His team couldn't get closer right away, but in the 19th minute the score was 9-10, and a minute later the team from Veszprém equalized (11-11). The half ended with Győr leading 12-16.
The first goal of the second half was attributed to Dely (12-17), and then there were two home responses (14-17). In the 40th minute, the difference between the two teams was still four goals (17-21). For the last ten minutes, the teams turned around with ETO leading by six goals, 20-26. The team in the white shirt kept its developed advantage in the end and finally won the match by six goals.

We were also able to manage the playing minutes well and everyone got a role . We are happy with the victory, but we will continue to work, as we will play a championship match at the home of Ferencváros on Saturday."
