In the 3rd round of the K&H Men's Handball League, the ETO University Handball Team will host the Csurgó team on September 20, 2024, Friday at 6 PM in the Magvassy Mihály Sports Hall. Before the match, we spoke with Zsolt Balogh, who was selected to the Team of the Week in the previous rounds. Tickets are still available for the match.
The team led by Bálint Kilvinger had a strong start to the league season, winning their first match against the Budakalász team in the final moments and securing a confident victory in their most recent game against Eger at their home ground.
Team Csurgó has recorded one win and one draw in the league so far. In the first round, they achieved a 26-26 draw against Eger at home, and in the second round, they ended up with a 29-29 draw at Gyöngyös. This summer, the experienced Vladan Matic took over as head coach of Csurgó. The squad has also undergone significant changes, with seven players leaving the team. However, four players—Marko Majstorovic, Bence Kiss, Vojislav Brajovic, and Gellért Fekete—have moved to Csurgó.
The match will be officiated by the referee duo of Gábor Hargitai and Gábor Markó.
